Call the lifeguards on Malibu Beach, because Beyoncé has arrived for her “Beywatch.”
Beyoncé treated her fans to a little Election Day cleanser on Tuesday, posting photos of herself paying homage to Pamela Anderson’s style in what was apparently her Halloween costume.
Or rather, her “Beylloween” costume, as she wrote in the caption.
The Grammy winner donned several different recognizable looks that Anderson has worn over the years.
The singer, sporting a platinum blonde wig, is seen in an all-black outfit from the 1996 classic film Barb Wire, which stars Anderson, and of course, the outfit Anderson wore to the 1999 MTV VMAs, complete with a big, furry pink hat.
And because there’s no shortage of opportunities for Beyoncé wordplay, she also donned the iconic red „Baywatch” swimsuit, which instead had the words „Beywatch” emblazoned across the bust in yellow letters, a nod to the series Anderson starred in from 1992 to 1997.
One post included a video of Beyoncé in every outfit dancing and singing “Bodyguard,” a song from her latest album, Cowboy Carter.
Beyoncé also made a subtle nod to Election Day and encouraged her fans to vote by holding a flag in one photo that read “vote!”
The tribute was accepted by Anderson.
“Don’t call me Bey…” she wrote on her Instagram Stories alongside a photo of Beyoncé as she portrays the character from “Barb Wire,” referencing the iconic line from the film.
The actress and animal rights advocate also showed Beyoncé her appreciation in the comments section of one post, writing, “LOVE.”
